ABOUT JEANETTE

Jeanette was born on the 2nd of December 1980 in Oxford in the UK.

At the age of 7 Jeanette's Grandmother gave her a broken necklace so she could play with the beads and from that moment on she was hooked on jewellery making. Jeanette found a local bead shop and all the money she had went on beads.When Jeanette was 11 she started making jewellery out of polymer clay to sell at school.

Over the years the obsession grew, trying all sorts of materials to satisfy her urge to make jewellery.

With 3 years Crystal Healing training and a GNVQ in Art and Design, plus numerous visits to the Mid Cornwall School Of Jewellery covering PMC silversmithing, Jeanette's love for jewellery making is now bigger than ever.

Jeanette now lives happily in Darlington  in the north East of England with her husband Ste, a budding writer, and there dog Scrappy.Shes lucky enough to have a job that she love in the local art shop.

Ste writes a column in Bead magazine called "Living with a beader". It's about Jeanette and her jewellery addiction and what Ste has to put up with, and is published every two months.

JEWELLERY PARTYS

Why not try something different than the same old night in with the girls and host a jewellery party. You invite your friends  and we'll supply the jewellery.We will even throw in a bottle of wine.

You and your friends will get to try on the jewellery through the evening and you, the hostess, will get 20% off any jewellery you purchace through the evening!

COMMISSION WORK

Jeanettes always happy to do commission work , repair work, and even jewellery revamps. If you like part of a piece of jewellery but not the whole thing she can adapt it to meet your requirements.

Jeanettes jewellery abilities consist of restringing, beading, chain mail, pmc work, silver smithing, wire work and more.

If you are interested in commission work or repair work please contact jeanette and she will be happy to help. Prices start from as little as £5 + p&p. 

WORK SHOPS

Jeanette hase been teaching jewellery making workshops for 3 years now in the ART SHOP in Darlington (UK), and hase recently completed a PMC teaching diploma to add to her jewellery making skills and knowledge.

Workshops and demonstrations are available in chain mail, wire work, beading, earring making, chain making, PMC and more. They are all available for beginners, intermediate and advanced.

If you are interested in having Jeanette run a workshop or demonstration for you just let her know. Prices are £25 an hour + materials + travel. So why not get a group of friends together to split the cost and have fun creating.
